ReplyDeleteYou could try a cyclical Keto diet and try 25-50g of quick carbs right before the gym to help with your endurance as you’ll be burning them during the workout.
Also, before your workout you can take some additional salt and you will get a similar pump and vascularity
Many keto athletes, etc. Take a certain type of carb. I forgot the name. Its usually once a week too. Helps with endurance. Thanks awesome your family does keto! The biggie is keto is like the fountain of youth!
ReplyDeleteI've been on keto for 4 years. and yes sometimes you can feel like shit at gym when trying keto for first time. i have salt and 350mg caffine drink before hand and fixes the issue
ReplyDeleteIm running keto with test and mast, 5 weeks into it im getting good results but my sex drive is gone!!!! Has anyone experienced this???
ReplyDeleteEverything you said on keto and gym is spot on!! Now I feel im getting stronger but that's the test and mast talking but I have no veins and the muscle belly seem flat and then I flex its kinda soft, now I wear long sleeve shirts because its kinda depressing, I look flat. I have 3 more weeks on keto, my wife loves it!! She lost 15 lbs so far!!!!

ReplyDeleteI mix two tablespoons of kerrygold butter with salt, half a tablespoon of MCT oil, and two cups of coffee...plenty of energy for the gym. No shakes, heart doesn't race from prestims.

ReplyDeleteTry having carbs two hours before workout and carbs 30-45 minutes after workout. My family follows a keto lifestyle but I too feel the same as you. Just started the carb cycle before and after training and I feel better. Just a thought.

ReplyDeleteHi again. My tests came out to be IGF-1: 135.9 ng/ml; Free Testosterone 14.61 pg/ml and Total 347.68 ng/dl, Estradiol 34.3 pg/ml. It seems i have low GH and should be treated. Please give your opinion.

ReplyDeleteChanged to moderate carbs ( less than 100 ) and energy levels and pump returned after a few days.
Maintaing weight by reducing slightly fats and protein intake, to compensate for new calories coming in.
to many carbs/food
