Me watch video...looking over the ingredients of my moisturizing Cream...
ReplyDeleteToo big brain for me ;[
ReplyDeleteHalf of what you guys picked are serums, not moisturizers xD that alone makes the focus of ingredients different than moisturizers.
ReplyDeleteOkay this is actually very informative
ReplyDeleteRetinoic acid is the one with all the scientific proof, retinol is assumed to work because it can convert into retinoic acid in the skin. Retinoic acid is also available cheap online. Retinol is way more expensive and is BS compared to retinoic acid.
ReplyDeleteReetinoic acid has side effects because it also has effects. Retinol has no side effects because guess what? It has basically no effects either.
I love MITCH...
ReplyDeletedon't buy this
ReplyDeleteAs you're discussing creams from a scientific perspective, you're omitting the most important elements that contribute or deduct from skin aging. These are: The foods you eat, the environment you subject your skin to, and the amount of sleep you benefit from. If you'd like to keep looking young, manage those well and you'll just need soap and water to clean your skin and you'll still look beautiful years down the road.
ReplyDeleteI really have no interest in preventing wrinkles, and I'll continue haphazardly rubbing my whole face with beard oil, just to keep it from being all dry and crusty, but this was still an interesting video.
ReplyDeleteSoooo please tell me that you can't get a Serotonin Syndrome reaction from the topical methylene blue?
ReplyDeleteAmazing information! Thanks, guys!
ReplyDeleteWhat about hylauronic acid?
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy your videos. Love how thorough you guys are! Keep em coming! :)
ReplyDeleteLove these two 😍
ReplyDeleteI juz stopped by ta say I adore & luva u BOTH muchly!!!~
ReplyDelete✌🍀♥️🌈🥰
here after the debunked video heheheh
ReplyDeleteBotox is the only thing that prevents wrinkles.
ReplyDeleteThese mfs smart
ReplyDeleteThanks guys! You are so much fun! And this is a good informative video with millions of confusing products from the Beauty industry.
ReplyDeletethe thing to always remember about aging is that it is both an INTERNAL and EXTERNAL process. Focus on both the internal and external, not just one of the two
ReplyDeleteShrug.
ReplyDeleteThis does apply to me at all.
I'm black and I'm in my 40s.
I don't have a single wrinkle.
Loved your closing sentiment about wrinkles. Very sweet. And of course awesome review.
ReplyDeleteIm a doctor. My anti aging regime is not putting up with peoples bullshits :)
ReplyDeleteDoes YouTube still have annotations? Bc now this video was identified as misleading
ReplyDeleteanyone her after they debunked their own video?
ReplyDeleteHere after the debunking video? 🙋🏻♀️
ReplyDeleteThis information has been so helpful to me. I thank you from the bottom of my soul for doing this research and for sharing it with me, with us, the YouTube community. Your research was flawless and oh my gosh are you smart! I love how you dominated the science behind these ingredients and these claims! And you, how you were able to use your intuition and your knowledge to guess which creams were best! That was amazing!
ReplyDeleteI just looked thru ALL of my face products and thank the lord I don't have any products with collagen in
ReplyDeleteI love Greg and his sass so much
ReplyDeleteYou guys are hilarious!!!
ReplyDeleteThank.you very much for this!!
Asap science meets dr younn
ReplyDeletecries in expensive vitamin C serum
ReplyDeleteGood video :) actually "clinically proven" means that humans have tested it. No matter or many person and how they tested it. It's not even in a clinic or anything medical linked to this... only the human tester part
ReplyDeleteCerave has glycerin as 2nd ingredient, guess Im good!
ReplyDeleteOMG an entire channel on the science of skin care? yes please! subscribed! also, collab idea with the youtuber who goes into celebrity plastic surgery, the way different skin types age (ex. what is the story behind "black dont crack"?) and the impact of nutrition on aging.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of expensive creams that contain retinol. Why is Skinceuticals "the only one that works"?
ReplyDeleteAgeing is great. It means you didn't die. 😂
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for all this informations🥰🥰
ReplyDeleteWill you PLEASE do one on medicinal herbs (like flowers & plants) mixed with oils to make facial/body oil? I wanna know if it actually works
ReplyDeleteThis is such a helpful vid but a couple things J disagree with is 1) Moisturising alone can help with the appearance of anti-ageing as dry skin is way more prone to superficial wrinkling! 2) Vitamin E is very debatable with its effectiveness for helping skin concerns, especially for hyperpigmentation/ skin discolouration
ReplyDeleteHyram wants to join in. Ahahha 😂
ReplyDeleteSome products having collagen powder in their formulas as the substitute of Xanthan gum or any other thickening agent. Also, it has moisturising property when using topically.
ReplyDeleteThanks for doing the researching for us
ReplyDeleteAs a channel named after science, this is one of the worst videos you guys have put out there. You take the information you do not understand and then blast them with your half-understanding as scientist from another field. For anyone who wants to know a more accurate version of the science behind skincare, I implore you to find scientists who have portfolios both as a dermatologist and as a product formulator. You need knowledge and experience in both of those two fields to form a complete picture.
ReplyDeleteMost of those branded skincare products out there such as Lamer are indeed hocuspocus, but the mid-to-low range ones actually have a ton of science behind them depending on what your concerns are and what you are trying to fix.
As a channel dedicated to science, this video is a shame.
Blue light emanating from smartphone screens, tablets, TVs and more causes accelerated aging of the facial skin. https://www.ebay.com/itm/224306622317
ReplyDeleteAll these butthurt women in the comment section. Why are you defending all those products? You know that half of the products you're using is straight out bs from the beauty and drug industry to make money off of your insecurities? So do doctors that prescribe you all those extra products. They make a small profit out of it. Some women really need to wake up and realize that they have been scammed by these huge cooperations and stop believing on lies and fancy advertisments.
ReplyDeleteCan you talk about "yes to watermelon light hydration gel moisturizer" and talk about how good it is.
ReplyDeleteAlso are oils like avocado oil good for your skin?
This was so interesting. I love your channel & u guys make me laugh too so that makes me love ur channel even more. ❤🎈
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this video!!! 💖
